BY PARTICIPATING IN THE Best Female Directed Feature Film Contest (THE "CONTEST"), EACH ENTRANT FULLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY AGREES TO AND ACCEPTS THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF XFACTORFILM.COM WHICH ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROMOTION. WINNING A PRIZE IS CONTINGENT UPON FULFILLING ALL REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH HEREIN

To Enter: To enter, go to http://xfactorfilm.bracketeers.com, fill out the registration form and complete the Best Female Directed Feature Film Contest by selecting your picks and click "submit." In order to fill out a valid bracket you must choose a winner for each match-up that is consistent with the prior match-ups. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries will be accepted. All entries must be received between October 30, 2009 and November 15, 2009. For the purposes of contest deadlines, the sole determinant of the current time will be the clock on xfactorfilm.com's server, regardless of what other timekeeping devices may indicate. Entrants who submit their entry close to the deadline time do so at their own risk. Limit one entry per person and per e-mail address. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Xfactorfilm.com will not verify receipt of entries. Xfactorfilm.com is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected or stolen entries or transmissions, or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic. Contest entries are the property of xfactorfilm.com and will not be returned.

Eligibility: Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of xfactorfilm.com and its affiliates or licensees and their immediate families in the same household are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. This promotion is intended for viewing in the United States only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to United States law.

Winners: Winners will be selected according to their correct selection of the competitors within the Best Female Directed Feature Film Contest as determined by voting on this website. The most accurate contestant who qualifies for each prize will win the prize set forth below. Qualifying for the grand prize will imply ineligibility for the first and second place prizes; qualifying for the first place prize will imply ineligibility for the second place prizes. In case of a tie within a prize category, the winner will be selected at random from the most accurate contestants who qualifies for that category. Winners will be selected within 5 days of the close of general population voting for any particular part of the contest and by notified at the email address provided to xfactorfilm.com at registration. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received and voting as determined by visitors to this website.

Prize Details:

  • (a) Grand Prize: For predicting the Best Female Directed Feature Film correctly, the contestant becomes eligible to win a Netflix 12 month Unlimited Subscription and a shirt of the contestant's choice from the X-Factor Filmmakers online store.
  • (b) First Place Prize: For predicting the two finalists correctly, the contestant becomes eligible to win a Netflix 6 month Unlimited Subscription and a shirt of the contestant's choice from the X-Factor Filmmakers online store.
  • (c) Second Place Prize: For predicting the winners of all four genres correctly, the contestant becomes eligible to win a Netflix 3 month Unlimited Subscription and a shirt of the contestant's choice from the X-Factor Filmmakers online store.
  • Prizes are not transferable. All prizes claimed will be awarded. Prizes cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash, except at xfactorfilm.com's sole discretion. Federal, state and local taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Xfactorfilm.com reserves the right to substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value. Only one prize per family or household. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use winner's name and information provided by winner for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner and xfactorfilm.com may deduct any applicable withholding taxes and remit same to the relevant authorities, as may be required.

General Conditions/Release: Xfactorfilm.com and its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and shall be held harmless by winners for any damage, loss or liability to person or property, due in whole, or part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes or participation in this Contest. Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including any direct costs associated with entering this Contest, but excluding attorneys' fees. Xfactorfilm.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend part or all of this Contest should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of xfactorfilm.com corrupt or impair the administration, security , fairness or proper play of the Contest. In such event, xfactorfilm.com may award prizes in a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation or suspension. Neither xfactorfilm.com nor its affiliates shall be responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by xfactorfilm.com, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing or submissions which may damage a user's system or limit a participant's ability to participate in the Contest. Xfactorfilm.com may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrants of xfactorfilm.com representatives. All winners agree that xfactorfilm.com may use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation (where legal). Further, winners may be asked to sign additional documentation releasing xfactorfilm.com from other liabilities.
